In recent years, Hydro One has actively pursued the national "3060" goal and invested in more than 30 photovoltaic projects in regions such as Xinjiang, Qinghai, Yunnan, Sichuan, Jiangsu, Xi'an, Inner Mongolia, and Congo (Kinshasa), with a total capacity of over 5,000 megawatts. The total investment in photovoltaic projects in Xinjiang, Qinghai, and other regions has exceeded 13 billion yuan, with a total capacity of 2.4 million kilowatts. During this period, Hydro One actively integrated into Yunnan Province's "wind, solar, water, and storage" integrated construction, winning multiple EPC general contracting projects for mountainous agriculture and animal husbandry photovoltaic and roof photovoltaic projects, with a total capacity of 2.26 million kilowatts. In 2022, several new photovoltaic projects constructed by Hydro One successfully achieved the goal of "starting construction and grid connection in the same year" and made outstanding contributions to the creation of a world-class "green energy brand" in Yunnan Province. While focusing on the development of green energy and promoting high-quality construction of photovoltaic projects, Hydro One has conducted experience exchanges and learning through expert groups, thoroughly summarized various photovoltaic construction experience, organized joint discussions among various photovoltaic projects, used BIM digital visualization technology to simulate the entire process of photovoltaic construction, and continuously made technological innovations. It has summed up a set of distinctive photovoltaic construction experiences and become the main force in the construction of clean and low-carbon energy. During project construction, Hydro One actively integrated into local development, using the "photovoltaic+" model to accelerate rural revitalization, turning the "barren mountains" under the photovoltaic panels into "golden mountains and silver mountains," bringing benefits to local people and contributing wisdom and strength to local socio-economic development. By planting traditional Chinese medicinal materials such as Dian Huang Jing and Bai Ji under the photovoltaic panels, farmers can not only enjoy land income but also achieve employment opportunities at their doorstep. This truly realizes the development pattern of "photovoltaics above, industry below, village income, and employment opportunities for the people." The party branches of various photovoltaic projects under Hydro One actively coordinate with local government and start the "Party Building + Photovoltaics + Collective Economy + N" development model. By refining the measures of "N," they make concrete efforts in "Party Building + Photovoltaics + Village Collective Economy + Wealthy Leader + Industry" and "Party Building + Photovoltaics + Leading Enterprise + Industry + Village Collective Economic Organization Connecting Farmers," stimulating the "common prosperity effect," and presenting a new situation of multiple cooperation and win-win situation among enterprises, village collectives, and villagers. Photovoltaic construction combined with cash crops effectively drives local economic development.
