By the end of April this year, China's installed wind power capacity reached 380 million kilowatts, while its photovoltaic installed capacity reached 440 million kilowatts. The total installed capacity of wind and photovoltaic power exceeded 800 million kilowatts, reaching 820 million kilowatts, accounting for 30.9% of the national installed power capacity, of which wind power accounted for 14.3% and photovoltaic power accounted for 16.6%. From January to April this year, the national wind and photovoltaic newly installed capacity reached 62.51 million kilowatts, accounting for 74% of the national newly installed capacity, an increase of 11.5 percentage points year on year. Among them, new wind power capacity was 14.20 million kilowatts, and new photovoltaic capacity was 48.31 million kilowatts, accounting for 16.8% and 57.2% of the national newly installed capacity, respectively. From January to April this year, the national wind and photovoltaic power generation totaled 482.8 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 26.8%, accounting for 17.2% of the total social electricity consumption, an increase of 3 percentage points from the same period last year.
