THT-APS arc light comprehensive protection system
The THT-APS arc light comprehensive protection system (typical action time for removing total faults is 60-70ms) has shortened the action time by 60ms compared to traditional protection, effectively limiting arc light faults to the initial stage. Fundamentally eliminate arc light and block the possibility of fault development.
This product is mainly used for the protection of medium and low voltage busbars in switchgear systems such as power plants, substations, distribution substations, box transformers, and railway power stations; Protection of cable compartment connectors and circuit breaker compartments in feeder cabinets; Rectifier cabinet protection; Protection for other equipment prone to arc light, such as high-voltage motor junction boxes.
The THT-APS arc light comprehensive protection system includes the THT-APS-MU main unit, THT-APS-AC arc light acquisition unit, THT-APS-FU feeder protection unit, etc.
THT-APS-MU Main Unit
The main unit is the core of the arc light protection system. It collects, measures and calculates various inputs to realize the setting of various protection logics. It has functions such as communication and self inspection with the station monitoring system. Detect short-circuit current and optical signals from arc light sensors, process and judge data, send tripping signals to upstream circuit breakers to remove faults, and locate faults based on the address of the arc light sensor.
THT-APS-ACArc light acquisition unit
The arc light acquisition unit is a signal acquisition unit installed when the acquisition point exceeds the inherent configuration of the main unit, and each unit can provide up to 16 arc light acquisition inputs. Each arc light signal can be set to its address through the operation interface. The optical signal is transmitted to the main unit through optical fiber through T1/T2, and other data is transmitted through communication connections. Each collection unit is connected in a serial manner.
THT-APS-FUFeeder protection unit
The feeder protection unit is used independently as the feeder arc protection unit. Each unit can provide up to three arc light acquisition inputs. The arc light sensor is generally installed in the circuit breaker room (away from the side of the bus bar room) and cable room of the feeder cabinet. The installation position can also be selected according to the actual needs. When an arc light occurs in the feeder cabinet, the arc light signal is quickly collected, combined with the overcurrent signal to activate the relevant protection of the switchgear, and the circuit breaker in the feeder cabinet is disconnected. To avoid large-scale power outages caused by the disconnection of the entire busbar due to a switchgear malfunction.
